Les Akitas

of Death Star — The Akita Inu Empire

About Us

Hello! We are the world's smallest registered Akita kennel. We don't breed for a living or for profit, we just love Akitas and want to bring our contribution to maintaing and developing this amazing breed.

We are registered with the Fédération Cynologique Internationale, the largest international federation of national kennel clubs and purebred registries.

Our Rules

1. Puppies only once a year

Taking care of new born puppies is difficult both for the dog parents and for the human parents looking after them. We treat every puppy like our own since they are born. We give every bit of our energy and attention to our puppies during their first 3 months - from hygiene and food, to basic training, socialising and their overall wellbeing. This is an intense period and we can only do it once every year (sometimes even less).

2. Health & wellbeing always come first.

Our dogs are health tested for common genetic disorders, such as autoimmune diseases, hip dysplasia, and eye problems. They enjoy fresh air, walks in the forest and delicious food specifically developed for them. Looking after a smaller number of dogs allows us to give them enough time, attention and dedication.

3. The right puppy to the right family.

Since we are not breeding for profit we are very selective with prospective families. Akitas have a few peculiarties and we want to make sure our puppies will find the right environment to grow and prosper. We observe the early interactions between the puppies and we can make reccomendations based on what each family is looking for. We're happy to share our experience with any family looking to raise a dog from this impressive breed, however if we feel you are currently not suited to taking care of one we will let you know.

About Akita

(if you ask Kai)

The Akita Inu trace their origins to the ancient Sith Empire. They are known for their cunning appearance, with a sleek and glossy coat of fur that conceals their muscular and agile bodies. They have piercing eyes, sharp teeth, and wicked claws that give them a menacing and ruthless expression.

The Akita Inu are loyal and ambitious followers, often serving as assassins and spies for their masters. They have a strong sense of pride and will pursue their goals with relentless determination. They are also deceptive and manipulative, capable of twisting the minds of their enemies and allies alike. However, they can also be arrogant and rebellious, challenging their superiors rather than obeying them.

The Akita Inu have a long and dark history in the galaxy, dating back to the times of the Old Sith Wars. They were feared by the Jedi Order, who recognized their affinity with the dark side of the Force and their potential as Force-wielders. Some Akita Inu (like myself, Kai) even learned to use the dark side themselves, manifesting abilities such as mind control, force lightning, or force choke.

The Akita Inu are still feared and respected by many in the galaxy today, especially by those who appreciate their dark power and unique personality. They are considered a symbol of terror, ambition, and evil, qualities that are common and desirable in these chaotic times. The Akita Inu are more than just dogs; they are agents and heralds of the dark side.

About Akita

(if you ask Nala)

First of all, excuse Kai, he is not really Japanese and he never reads, only watches the stupid Star Wars with father. Allow me to tell you the real story of the Akita Inu. We are a Japanese dog breed that has a long and proud history as the dogs of samurai. Here is a brief summary of our story:

The Akita Inu originated from the ancient hunting dogs of Japan, called the Matagi Inu, that were used to hunt bears, deer, and other large game. In the 1600s, the Akita Inu became involved in dog fighting, which was popular in Japan at the time. They were crossbred with other breeds to make them more muscular and aggressive

In 1680, the fifth shogun of Japan, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, changed the status of dogs in society. He was a devout Buddhist and believed that he was a dog in his previous life. He issued laws that protected dogs from cruelty and required people to address them with respect. He had a special interest in the Akita Inu and made them the companions of the samurai. The samurai valued the Akita Inu for their loyalty, courage, and dignity. They used them as guard dogs and hunting dogs, and followed a special Akita language to train them. The leashes of the Akita Inu showed the social rank of their owners

In 1931, the Akita Inu was officially declared a Japanese natural monument. We became a symbol of national pride and cultural heritage known for our loyalty, courage, and independence.
